Formerly the Black Girl Digital Awards, our mission has evolved to celebrate diverse excellence across cultures, platforms, and industries — shining a spotlight on the voices driving meaningful conversations and cultural movements.
From content creators and influencers to brands and agencies, the BGD Global Creator Awards exists to amplify talent that’s breaking barriers, sparking change, and redefining what influence looks like in the creator economy.

How to Qualify?
Partnership Timeframe
-
All brand deals must have been contracted between January 1, 2023 and May 31, 2025.
-
At least one post from the partnership must be live on a social media platform by May 31, 2025.
Impact
-
The nominee’s content or campaign must demonstrate a measurable or meaningful impact, either on their audience, the broader community, or the partnering brand’s business goals.
Community
-
Nominees must have a minimum of 5,000 followers on any platform, or 10,000+ subscribers on YouTube.
Engagement
-
The content or partnership should reflect authentic community engagement such as likes, comments, shares, saves, and audience-driven conversation.
Consistency
-
Nominees must show sustained content creation and platform activity during the nomination period.
Originality
-
Nominated work should be creative, distinctive, and reflective of the nominee’s unique voice or brand.
Industry Standards
-
All brand partnerships must follow FTC guidelines and reflect professional best practices.
Willingness to Participate
-
All nominees must be willing to engage in the awards process, including communication, potential interviews, and promotional visibility.
